Because Lamore Lumber uses locally cut lumber which is milled almost exclusively at our mill in Deerfield, Massachusetts, our prices are as affordable as any kit or pre-cut structure on the market today even when we come to your place to build it. The real value is in the materials and the construction. You will notice that our typical post and beam lumber sizes are listed as “full cut.” This means that when we use a 4X4 post or a 4X6 beam, that’s the actual size. A finished 2X4 is actually 1 3/4 X 3 1/2 in size.
